What We Believe
Outreach Through Dance, a valuable community resource, believes in preserving the arts, educating, promoting awareness and providing positive role models for the community. Through the power of dance, our organization conveys to people of all ages, ethnicities and backgrounds the message of strength, positivity, and passion through the power of giving.
On May 2014, multiple fires throughout San Diego County burned homes, forced evacuations and charred the landscape. Firefighters across the region responded and aircraft support was brought during the firestorm.
Outreach Through Dance headed the #THANKAFIREMAN Project to help and support the firefighters in need of basic things such as food, toiletries, and other necessities to show our appreciation for their fast efforts to preserve our community.

Project
Our goal in 2011 was to collect 2,011 pairs of shoes and with your help, we collected 3,495 pairs!
JUST KICKS
OTD in partnership with MASA/220 for FUSION, created JUST KICKS in hopes to help raise shoe donations for kids and adults in third world countries who aren’t fortunate enough to have them.
Over 40% of people in the world do not have shoes, which causes them to have podoconiosis, a form of elephantiasis caused by exposure to irritating alkali soils.

“For The Brave” is a 2-week long campaign created by OTD aimed to give back to help our said warriors both financially and with gifts in kind. From Monday, March 12 – Saturday, March 24, we will be collecting items listed on The Needs List on The Warrior Foundation website
